Every rule on this page comes down to one sentence: rank is the bid. No editorial judgement, no engagement score, no paid tier that quietly outranks a higher bidder. The amount is public, and so is the order it buys.
How ranking works
Bids are whole US dollars, $2 minimum, $1 at a time.
Paying less than #1 still puts you on the board, at whatever rank that bid can take. Equal bids stay in the order they were placed — the older bid keeps the higher rank.
Enter the same website or @handle again to raise that listing back to #1. The new bid must be at least $1 above the current top bid, and you only pay the difference. Nobody else can take your rank by paying that difference — it is priced against what your listing already holds.
App Store, Play Store, GitHub and similar platform links are keyed by their path, so two different products on the same platform never share a bid.
The top of each category is a position too. Whoever leads a category appears on the front page, whatever their overall rank — so a bid that could never reach #1 still buys somewhere to be seen. It is decided by the same rule as everything else: the highest bid in that category leads it.
A leaderboard takeover costs 2× the current #1 and locks the first page for three hours. Only one takeover can be live at a time.
What you can list
A product website, or an X @handle.
Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and the rest. The board is for products and profiles, not group chats.
Links to sexual content are not allowed. If it is porn, NSFW, or an adult platform, it does not belong on the board.
Query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate, referral and tracking URLs will not work.
Link shorteners are not allowed. Submit one and it is replaced by the URL it redirects to.
After you pay
A completed payment is what claims the rank. Nothing appears on the board before the money clears.
Your listing is public. Clicks go to the address you submitted, tagged so you can see PodiumBid traffic in your own analytics — and nothing else is added.
Click counts exclude bots and repeated clicks from the same visitor. The number on the board is the number of real people who followed your link.
Being outbid is not a refund. You keep the exposure the bid already bought you; bid again to move back up.
